layout 415

At a glance

The community member is seeking guidance on adding or removing items from components with lists and interactions, specifically for Layout 415. The comments suggest that there are usually components with a different number of items (3 or 4) that could be used as a reference. The community member was trying to add an item to Layout 415, which they found challenging and not as precise as before. The other community members provided suggestions, such as spreading out the items or increasing the height of the layout415_component. However, there is no explicitly marked answer in the provided information.

Is there a general set of instructions for adding (or removing) items from components that have lists of things with interactions set up? E.g. Layout 415

Or specific instructions/documentation available somewhere per layout? I’m always fumbling through figuring out the classes and interactions that make it go.

its definitely on my list to do more component-specific docs for sure. In the cases like Layout 415 where adding/removing additional items is harder we usually have one that has 3 (Layout 416) and another that has 4 (Layout 415).

How many items are you trying to add to Layout 415? Some components have some limitations - especially scrolling ones - mostly from a UX perspective more than a hard limitation.

Hey Matt. Yeah in this case it was the other way, client provided copy with 5 items, so I was adding an item to the list. I found the interactions (I think) and made adjustments and it sorta works, but it doesn’t feel nearly as precise as it did before I borked it up.

yeah you might need to play around with spreading them out and or giving yourself more runway on the layout415_component - maybe play around with increasing this to 325vh or something?

Ah okay. I’m scared. Hold me.

I’ll play around with it, thanks for pointing me in a direction

haha I mean worst case scenario you have to paste in a new component

if you'd done all the styling though I suppose that might hurt a bit

Yeah, but I bet some futzing will get ’er done. Thank ya kindly.
