Webflow still lags behind in concurrent editing

At a glance

The community member who posted the original post is disappointed that Webflow still does not have concurrent editing, even though other tools like Figma and Google Docs have had this feature for years. The comments suggest that Webflow may have announced concurrent editing, but it is limited to only one designer at a time, which the community members find frustrating. They express concerns that this setup makes it difficult for editors to publish and for designers to coordinate their work.

Some nice announcements from Webflow today, but still no concurrent editing. I know it’s not the same, but how many years since Figma did it? Google Docs before that? And so on?

Didn’t they announce that? saw them show off two editors at once?

Yeah I think there is concurrent editing, but only one designer at a time?

Oh? I wasn’t watching, just read their recap.

Concurrent editing but one designer is what they’ve had for a long time. It kinda sucks bigly. Editors never know if they’ll actually be able to publish. Designers have to coordiate who’s allowed in to actually design, like it’s 1995 or something.

I kid. But also I don’t.
