Troubleshooting split-text scrolling with GSAP on a WF site

At a glance

The community member is having issues with the split-text scrolling from GSAP on their Webflow site and is seeking help. Another community member provides a read-only link to the site, and the original poster notes that changing the section padding caused the interaction to start late, but it now works fine. The community members discuss the design, the published URL, and the need for better documentation on how to tweak the GSAP interaction. Overall, the community is supportive and encouraging the original poster to keep going with their project.

Useful resources

I'm having some problems with Section 484, getting the split-text scrolling from GSAP to work properly on my WF site. Would anyone be willing to help me out?

can you send a read-only link?

dang what a kickass design! Wow.

Do you have the published URL as well?

Thanks!!

I think it was because I had changed the section padding to medium rather than large but the interaction start trigger seems to be set to the top of the component. Changing the padding made the interaction start really late.

It works fine now

Would be a nice plus to have documentation on how it works to be able to tweak it if needed. The documentation GSAP puts out & what I could find on YouTube wasn't great (especially for non-code-savvy people like me)

shoot who cares, it looks promising, keep going!

it appears to be working for me

Yeah, I changed the padding back to large - probably better this way as it has more white space now

yeah, I think it needs some space for the timing of it

But yeah, roger that on the documentation - I'll add it to my list - thanks - seriously keep going. πŸ’ͺ

You guys keep it up too! Relume's a game-changer! I'm new to it but a big fan
