The Mysterious Behavior of Components After Importing a Style Guide

At a glance

The community member is experiencing issues with some components in their project after importing a style guide library. The components were working fine initially, but started acting up after the import. Other community members have also reported issues with a specific layout (layout357). The community member has shared a read-only link to their project, and another community member has suggested that the issue might be related to custom code in the file. However, the community member has clarified that the custom code is not related to spacing or positioning, and they are unsure of the cause of the issue.

Useful resources

Some components are acting funny - despite me just using a the basic style guide library without any styling...

It's literally the first time I paste this component

On a new project it acts fine, but after I imported the style guide with the styleguide importer, it started giving bugs

It's the same with many many other components

as you can see there's no space left for you to click on "feature 1, 2...)

I just pasted the component into a new relume style guide library (after using the import styles)

@HoopAI would you mind sharing a read-only link?

@HoopAI yeah I would say its something in this file because when i delete all other sections, there is a giant white gap at the top that has zero explanation to me. Is there custom code somewhere?

Hi @Matt, there's only that came with relume

All the other custom code isn't related to spacing or positioning - whichc shouldn't affect them ;/

So there is custom code that you’ve added or?
