Question... I'm not a designer, just a content strategist, but the dev I'm working with says that they want everything in AdobeXD instead of Figma, even though we're using Relume components. What is the reason behind this?
If they don't have another reason can you somehow bring them over to Figma? The transition is super easy and it's a much easier and updated program
Thanks, that's what I thought. It might come down to preference. Our whole team (non-design gang) knows Figma, so it seems odd to have 4-5 people learn a "new tool" if there is no reason other than personal preference. Does compression have anything to do w/ it? Maybe if the designer uses Illustrator and XD, it would be closer to spec perfect?
I'm out of my depth here, so would appreciate any insights.
Makes absolutely no sense, as XD is even worse than Figma and missing tons of features for efficiency... It seems like they are either lazy or cheap and dont want to pay another sub ๐
Just read that Adobe announced they won't further develop and update XD and even will give up on it and end its effort to create a web design product after the failed figma deal ๐
