Export feature not built yet?

And you don't find out until AFTER you have signed up and upgraded?

That should be illegal

Another massively disappointing AI wrapper product

What a terrible user experience

Hey Leon, export is available?

style guide is amazing!!! there is an export to webflow and it works like a charm

Though I’m finding I can’t upload images into the styleguide. I keep getting “Failed to upload image” :(

Sorry to chime in here - but the style guide is literally the best feature of relume haha.

Hey @Leon Harris can you expand on what you mean by no export feature built yet?

Oh and yeah, the styleguide is eye-popping magic.

@Lee Fuhr regarding your import to figma - I had thought I had reproduced this but it turns out I had imported a different concept which had no generated or upload photos - do you think this was possible for you - I have not been able to reproduce this bug of not having images imported.

@Leon Harris can you expand on what you mean by the export feature not being built yet? We'd really love to know how we can make this suck less for you.

@Matt Hmm. Here’s a quick screencast of the bug in action: https://cln.sh/cCZ36mND

yeah I misread your original post - this one is pretty hard to troubleshoot. Would you be able to provide the image files?

I’ll DM you

@Leon Harris Just bumping up my question above again. Help us, help you!

This :

This is the WORST customer experience - signing up for a paid account only to find out AFTER that the main feature isn't launched yet

Seriously, don't do this. I would have been happy to join a waiting list until this feature is launched. But dragging me through a signup and credit card funnel to only then be told "coming soon" with no further details on what the feature will do is bullshit.

Unless I have missed something, and it was made clear from the start that this feature is "coming soon" in which case I apologise, I must have taken a weird journey through the site

But I feel as though you were trying to scam me

@Leon Harris okay got it - really appreciate this feedback. I can totally understand how this looks like a bait and switch if what you were ultimately trying to do was export some colors and typography from our style guide builder. Just to be sure we dont have any disconnects here though - we do have export for React for the wireframes. So you can generate a sitemap and wireframes/content, and then you can export that to React. Like all startups, we operate in sprints and release things in chunks and instead of settling, we discovered a better way to do React export - so we had to essentially re-engineer this feature about half-way through its development.

We had plans to launch React export by now but the team decided to push it because the experience was not up to our very high standards. There was definitely no campaign to scam anyone on anything.

If you would like to DM me your email, I'd be more than happy to provide you with a refund as well as a discount code to try out React export for the style guide builder when we release it, and I can email you to let you know that we've released it.

Here's a doc on how to export wireframes to React:
https://www.relume.io/resources/docs/how-to-export-site-builder-wireframes-to-react

Export to react is ok, but export to HTML + (S)CSS is probably the best feature, then the frontend designs can be used in any language.

You have to understand:
Sitemaps are meh... easy for every LLM
Wireframes - Easy for cursor, Bolt, Lovable...
But Style Guide... It doesn't exist ANYWHERE. Full page designs which actually LOOK GOOD!? Wow!

And then a massive kick in the balls that you CAN'T ACTUALLY USE THEM! You just have to stare at them longingly then go back to writing a wonky looking page from scratch.

Prioritise Style Guide exports. Nothing else matters.

Style Guide exports is a Figma-killer.
Export to Figma is kind of useful... when it works. Mostly the browser becomes unresponsive and I'm not sure how to get it to open in the app...
But I'm not a designer, I'm a developer. Thats why I need Relume! Because Figma is of little use to me. I spend forever trying fonts and colours and none of it looks right. Style Guide could change all that

yeah totally understand - appreciate your feedback - super helpful!
