Relume library loading issues

At a glance

The post is about a community member experiencing loading issues with the relume library. The comments suggest that the issue may be dependent on third-party tools loading properly, and that the community members are unable to do much about it. One community member mentions investigating further by running network tests. Another community member from Germany is also experiencing performance issues, and the team has looked into it but cannot find the cause. The team requests the German community member to provide more information, such as recording the screen with the console open, downloading the HAR file, and checking for any network-related issues or local regulations that may be causing the problem. The team acknowledges that this issue may not be straightforward to resolve and will require some back-and-forth and patience to figure it out.

Hey hey, anybody also experience some loading issues of relume library?

@Christian Schmitt hmm we get this feedback occasionally and I feel like its largely dependent on third party tools loading properly unfortunately. In other words, not a ton we can do about it within a reasonable way.

yeah i can think of this. I will investigate, perhaps i have more insights after network tests

yeah that would be super helpful!

perhaps Facebook is the problem?

Hey @Matt, we still have performance issues in the german community do you know what you need so we can investigate?

@Christian Schmitt okay - I have 2 or 3 others that are voicing issues from Germany. The team as looked into this and as far as we can tell, nothing on our end should be blocking or causing this.

What would be helpful is recording your screen with the console open so that we can see what errors (if any) that come up can be detected. Downloading the HAR file would also be helpful.

inspect > network > you’ll see a small download icon.

Any further context into your network, any possible firewalls or VPNs, or any kind of possible localized regulations would be helpful.

Like maybe you would be able to contact your ISP and ask them if there is any reason why they would be selectively blocking resources from relume.io? And can they put it on a whitelist? I understand that it fluctuates in slowness based on time of day?

Lets work together to figure this out but unfortunately will require a bit of back and forth and some patience as its becoming clear to me that this will not be straight forward.
