Does anyone know how to connect the gallery component for Product Header 4 via Smootify? I have several images in the shopify product, but Smootify only created a singular "image" attribute in the cms collection to be synced. I'm finding smootify's documentation and tutorials extremely unhelpful overall.
@Brennan Burling yeah, not surprised at all that Smootify's documentation is awful. Same makers as Udesly and it was awful. Extremely frustrating.
With that said, I believe they have a discord group, you could try popping in there. I'm sure its something simple and they are just not documenting it.
@Matt thanks for the tip. I opted for smootify over shopyflow because of the Relume integration. Might be worthwhile to look back over their product and see if it's still something you want to steer relume users towards.
I can't really even find anyone in our slack community that has implemented it successfully.
Hmm did I steer you towards it by chance? For the reason I said above, I really try hard not to.
I do recall that in our marketing or in a community roundup we might have mentioned it and I was not consulted on said recommendation and I would have warned against it to be honest. I've wasted months worth of time trying to decipher Udesly docs and functions that were completely undocumented.
@Matt This was months ago, but I remember when new product headers and other ecommerce sections were launched they were shipped as already smootify ready. Maybe I read into it too much, but it seemed like there was a partnership between you guys.
I'm not mad by any means, just hope I can pull this off π
yeah I vaguely remember that, I'll have a chat with the team. I would jump into their discord, from previous experience they were quick to answer questions in there.
@Brennan Burling wondering if its the same attributes as udesly - or concepts. I remember this part not being well documented. Can you share your read-only link?
I'm currently installing shopyflow to see if that is a quicker fix so might be kinda messy
@Matt I found the custom attribute, but I can't figure out how to get them not to stack horizontally
The relume component is built with two sections a "main image" then the gallery below. I hid the main image with a "hide" class and then attached the custom attribute to the list-wrapper
Probably helpful for the next person who has the issue π I couldn't find anything on the discord it wouldn't even let me post
