Activating Necessary GSAP Libraries for Relume Layout Component

Hola everyone!

I tried this component and i wasn’t working working for me at all: https://www.relume.io/components/layout-484
Its the component that ‘fills’ the text as you scroll. I saw there were a couple of other threats where people mentioned earlier this year that its not working but it was reported that has been fixed.

When I tried to add it, it initally also didnt work and I was going through all the code to find why this is the case.

However, found a quick solution: in the site setting under ‘GSAP’ activate the right libraries (Think ScrollTrigger and Splittext) and it works smoothly.
Might be worth adding a note to the Relume component 🙂

Yeah we discovered there might be a conflict with an update that either Webflow or GSAP has made since GSAP was acquired by Webflow several months ago now. Thanks for flagging this!

@Matt

I found that it works when you delete the component you've imported from relume into webflow and use the component within webflow.

As in, in webflow, head to the component library, select, copy and paste the element from there straight into the page - don't copy it from relume itself. that works for me.

@Oli Cheveralls - actually I tried that first and didnt work for me but will give it a go next time 🙂
Thanks!
