Homepage with two-choice option

At a glance

The community member is looking for a homepage component that provides a clear two-choice option for their client's two distinct audiences. They want each choice to have at least a picture and a headline, with a description text as a nice-to-have. The community members discuss potential solutions, including customizing pricing components, using a simple gallery component, or building a custom solution. They also consider using pre-built components from Relume, but express concerns about their client's preferences and the potential for a "cookie cutter" look. Ultimately, the community member is seeking direction on the best approach for their specific use case.

Looking for a component for a homepage with a clear TWO-Choice option.

Working on a new project and the client has two very distinct audiences. Each audience has its own landing page, but for the homepage, I’m looking for the right component to point them to their corresponding page.

Each choice should have at least a picture and a headline. A description text would be a nice-to-have. Could also add it myself.

I’ve customized the Pricing components to handle this kind of use case before. Have you given that a go?

That is interesting; I guess that could be an option. Would require a decent bit of manual labor. Thanks for the tip !

Might be a (very simple) starting point as well. But since its the Hero section, I’d love to have something with a bit more punch to it.

I’m affraid my client is a bit too old-school for something as wild as https://www.relume.io/components/header-104 - while I think it would kick-ass.

Why not just build custom? Relume is cool but I expect that on any given site I will have to do some sections custom if I want to execute on my vision without changing it to make it fit into Relume’s component library.

Plus I always say that too much Relume can start to look a little cookie cutter.

At least if you don’t put a lot of effort into re-styling.

Yeah fair point. I think perhaps I was simply looking for some direction.
