Broken Links in Card Components

At a glance

A community member is having issues with the links in their card components not working properly. The links open in a new tab but lead to a "page not found" error. The community member has set up properties for the image link and button link, but the issues persist. Another community member suggests trying to publish the project to the Webflow staging environment to see if the issue is resolved there. They also suggest consolidating all the links into a single link property for the entire component, instead of having separate link properties for the image, button, and header/title. The original community member confirms they were trying it out without using the Webflow CMS, and they will try the suggested solution.

Hello Lumers. I would like some help. When I create properties for some card components, all the links I have set up to go to the respective work pages aren’t working. They link to a new tab and say this isn’t the page you’re looking for. I created properties for the Image link and the button link. I’m referring to the 2 cards in the component at the bottom of the page. https://preview.webflow.com/preview/cw-design-new?utm_medium=preview_link&utm_source=d[…]ed05737c72&pageId=65caacdf7cf7eaad1dc32e12&workflow=preview

Hey - what happens if you publish to the webflow.io staging environment? Does it still not work?

By the way, any particular reason why you're not using the Webflow CMS collection for those portfolio projects instead of using static pages?

If you don't want to use the CMS, I'd test removing all the link properties and consolidate into 1

You can select ONE link for the entire component and tie the image link, button link, and header/title link into that same Link property.

I was trying it out without the CMS. Oh ok, I will try that. Thank you!
